Wendy graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto in 1997. She completed the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute (AFCI) exam to achieve a CAFCI designation and has been Bone Fit™ trained through Osteoporosis Canada.
Since graduating from University of Toronto in 1997 Wendy has worked in various setting from hospitals to private physiotherapy clinics. She opened her own clinic in 2006 and has enjoyed being able to deliver one on one care to her clients. Wendy continues to further her education through a variety of post-graduate courses including but not limited to: acupuncture, dry needling, myofascial release, functional movement assessment techniques, neurokinetic therapy, manual therapy, visceral manipulation, cranial sacral therapy, ELDOA poses, exercise program management and training in osteoporosis management. She enjoys continuing to add new tools to her repertoire of treatment techniques. Wendy loves people, animals, nature and all outdoor activities. She enjoys coaching her children’s activity groups and working with all ages to help keep people active, healthy and happy. She looks forward to seeing you at your next appointment! |
